How do disposable vapes work?

Disposable vapes work in the same way as a typical vape pen. Both use a vape coil which soaks up vape juice that is heated by the battery to create vapour.

The only difference is that the coil in a disposable vape is hidden and you don't have access to change the coil after use. Instead you dispose of the entire disposable vape, including the coil, battery, circuit board and body.

The Puff Box is different than a traditional disposable as you keep the main device, including the battery, body and circuit board. This reduces plastic and lithium battery waste, with only the Puff Box Refills being disposed of.

How long a disposable vape lasts depends on how long and often your draw on your disposable vape.

Each Puff Box refill will last an average of 650 puffs.

How to dispose of disposable vapes in the UK?

Disposable vapes can be difficult to recycle as they can't be easily broken down into separate components by the user. It's also something we don't recommend you try to do either.

The Puff Box is different as the battery and body are retained and reused, whilst you only dispose of the refills, saving plastic and zero lithium battery waste.

You can also post your Puff Box Refills back to JAC Vapour and we will responsibly break them down and recycle for you.

Why do disposable vapes taste better?

Disposable vapes are ready to go, meaning that you don't have to prepare the device for vape juice, a process known as 'priming the coil'. This is where you make sure that the coil-wicking material has been fully saturated with vape juice before firing.

All Puff Box devices come with a 2-month warranty from time of purchase. Puff Box Refills are covered by our Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) policy, meaning if the Refill doesn't work at time of delivery, we will send a replacement. The Puff Box kit or Puff pods can be returned within 14 days under our ‘no quibble’ guarantee, only if the kit or pods packaging are returned unopened. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept any returns of opened kits or pods under this offer. If a device has failed please refer to the warranty above.
