In need of some replacement coils for your S-Tank? Look no further.

    • Supplied in packs of 5.
    • Suitable for use with the S-17 and S-22 tanks.

If you prefer a mouth to lung vape over direct lung, these MTL coils are your best bet. Designed to offer a satisfying mouth to lung vaping experience, these coils are wicked with organic cotton for great taste and performance.

Mouth to lung vaping is popular, particularly among new vapers, as it realistically mimics the same action as smoking a tobacco cigarette; first drawing the vapour into the mouth, then inhaling again to draw it down into the lungs. This method is a very natural action for most former smokers, and is generally seen as best for maximising flavour.

Customer Reviews for the S-Coil JOC Mouth to Lung

  • No bad - by Penguin , 3 June 2018

When they work they're good but I've had issues with faulty coils in the past. Called customer services and they sorted it out for me.
  • Very good coil - by Kev, 13 January 2018

I have had no problems with this coil, they last ages and also cope easily with high VG liquids that struggle in my Nautilus tank. They do need proper priming, but once that's done I find them one of the most reliable coils I have ever used. I now have 4 of the S22 kits (all the colours) my wife uses 2 and I use the other 2 so I think I am pretty well placed to gauge reliability
  • Wicks are erratic - by Holly, 8 December 2017

Love the kit but these coils are erratic - First one was absolutely fine and lasted about 3 weeks before getting the burnt taste - replaced, burnt taste straight away and when I took it out it didnt have any cotton in the hole which you prime before using it, which I hadnt checked ! Now have two kits, first in my other was fine, second and third were tasting burnt within a day, so they are really hit and miss and quite wasteful money wise (JAC did send me a replacement pack so may have been a dodgy pack), have started a new pack and this one is ok so far so fingers crossed it was just a faulty pack, gets quite expensive though and the burnt taste is just horrible.....................JAC Vapour Ltd: They shouldn't burnout, I use these coils myself and never had a coil burnout, I change once a week juts out of habit really and I get maybe 3 fills a day. You do have to make sure they are primed though, couple of drops in the top of the coil and then 2 drops on each wick hole, juts checking you are doing this, then leave to sit for around 5-10 minutes and it's good to go. If you are doing that, then it must be a bad pack, but it'd be really unusual to get 2 dud packs.
  • How long do these last - by Daniel, 22 August 2017

I purchased a pack of these with my starter kit about 2 months ago now and I've only used 2 of them, I only really changed the coil because I felt it must have needed it, but actually the first one was still performing well. The new one did taste a lot better, but I would have said the old one was bad after nearly 5 weeks!!! I fill once a day, so that's going on 40 fills from one coil, is that bead for me?.............JAC Vapour: vertical coils last a long time, that's why we based the S on them, and actually I normally burn a coil out by running it too low before it needs changed. You can change coils whenever you want, but over time taste will degrade, you will also get a build up of unwanted stuff on the coil and wick, it's not world ending and nothing like cigarettes, but the longer you use coils the more unwanted stuff occurs, so I would suggest replacing every 7-10 fills. In the end it's all down to user preference though, personally I change once a week and fill 1-2 times a day.
  • Not Really Sure Now..... - by Phil, 19 June 2017

Not sure what is happening here. The coil that come with the DNA 75 was great. Great vape and lasted a fair amount of time. On replacing it with a new coil after about 1/2 hour it was like trying to suck a golf ball through a hose. I replaced that with a new one, this one just will not wick. I have followed the instructions and primed it, then left it for 3 days. Now it just spits red hot liquid out the top on 10 Watts, which was what I was using in the original. I have now gone back to the Aero Geni with a 1.8 JOC wick. That's fine. But it's a shame as I bought a spare S-22 tank. *Edit* After taking a video of the volcano it seems to have settled down now.....Go figure........................JAC Vapour Ltd: I've checked your order and it seems both lots of coils are the MTL 1.0 coil, the one in the tank and the ones you purchased afterwards. The coil is flooded (the spitting) I presume when you were firing it for the video, you vapourised the excess liquid, hence it's settled down. If you get spitting, and it tends to happen with brand new coils just flick the device, basically hold it like a fishing rod and flick down, it'll clear the tubes. When you prime a coil (put some juice down the centre hole of the coil, you'll flood it, so you need to clear it with a few sharp flicks, you'll also find you need to do this after the first few fills, then it'll settle down. The coil that is a tight draw, sounds like the cotton is covering the airflow, so a dodgy build, if you look down it you can clear it with a tooth pick, but you can also contact CS and we'll replace. There is a video of how to flick the a device here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvkcyy9axX8&list=PLjdqP8iNvjHGoGYyIrzZytwaPm8N4gxBf&index=10 it's for the S-17, but it's the same principle for the S-22. Any further issues contact customer service and they'll help sort it, thanks for the review.
  • Very Good - by Kevin, 7 May 2017

I started with these coils initially as i wanted as close an experience to smoking as possible. Work great and last roughly between 1 - 2 weeks although i did have one that lasted 3 weeks. I suppose it depends on how much you use it. Never had any problems with these and for the initial transition from smoking these were perfect, i have now moved on to direct lung but thats just personnal choice.
  • Not sure... - by Jonathan James, 1 May 2017

Not sure what I think about these. They produce a great taste/vape and my first one which was provided with my e cig lasted over a week however the subsequent pack I used seemed to eat e liquid (I was refilling 3 times a day on average compared to my usual 1) and the coils would need to be changed every 2 days. I've started my second pack now and hoping the issue doesn't continue...........JAC Vapour Ltd: There is nothing that a coil can change that would cause the eliquid to be used more quickly, the same coil will always use the same liquid if set at the same power, and your SERIES-S has set power so that's not adjusting. The only other thing that can change eliquid consumption is changing the eliquid, so if you moved from a PG to a VG base, then the VG produces more clouds, and the clouds have to come from somewhere (i.e. more liquid). I would suggest counting the number of times and for how long you drag, you'd be surprised how perception can be altered, when I first started vaping I stuck mainly to what I would smoke, then I found I slipped more into a constant drag every 3 mins or so, so 20 drags an hour, meaning 40 drags in the time I would have probably only smoked 1 cigarette. I stopped it by monitoring my use and limiting my drags to 8 per hour, it's worth trying to gauge use. When I was vaping away willy-nilly I thought the batteries performance was getting worse, juice consumption and coil usage was going through the roof, but it was really just a big jump in use that I hadn't registered. That aside an MTL coil should last around a week of 3 fillls a day, they say 8 fills but I never get less than 20 out of mine, and even then they are still working, I just change out of habit, or maybe I let one run too low and burn it. I know somebody that ran a coil for 40 fills and it still worked fine, but when I took it apart it was full of black gunk and build up on the coil, so I wouldn't advise it. I am not sure of the reason why you are changing coil, but if it's gargling, just flick it as per the tutorial video, no need to change it. If it's blocked then that's another issue, contact support and they'll advise how to do it.
  • Best coil yet - by Hugh, 27 April 2017

used to use the PT3 kanger coils, then found the JAC vapour JOC coils, but they became a bit inconsistent, so I moved to a T22 tank in the end, but have always been on the look out for a good affordable mouth to lung option. I saw the s22 in a review I watched recently and purchased on the strength of that, at the price I was not really expecting much, but these little coils are great, good vapour, good taste and the perfect mouth to lung drag. They last ages and they are pretty reasonably priced, the one I am currently using has probably had a good week and bit use out of it, in general I am changing about every 2 weeks. I have noticed when you put in a new coil you cannot skip priming as the coil will burn, other have mentioned this, the cotton is very tightly packed and you need to prime to get it going, but once done it runs like a dream (max VG), the other little quirk is you need to flick (it's been mentioned in previous reviews) occasionally, but that aside they never leak and have very consistent performance. If you are looking for a solid mouth to lung coil you can't go far wrong with these.
  • No problems and easily the best mouth to lung coil available - by Grams, 24 April 2017

I see there are a few reviews of these coils where the users are having issues. My guess is it's the user and not the coil, I have used these for 6 months now, first in the Series s and now in the s22, never had a fault and never had a coil burn out, so I can't believe I have been this lucky compared to a few others. This is by far the most reliable mouth to lung coil I have ever used, its way better than the protank coils of old and on a par if not better than the nautilus stuff. My main gripe is no topfill on the s22, but that's nothing to do with the coils, they last ages and never leak, even without the topfill for mouth to lung the s22 rocks and hopefully there will be an update with the topfill, until then it'll be pretty much the only tank I use.
  • poor poor coils - by david, 22 April 2017

2nd review on these coils now 1 less star as now on 3rd coil theses coils work great for 2 days great taste great vapour then down hill from there 1st one felt like it was blocked small amount of vapour no taste what so ever 2nd coil same problem blocking not as bad as 1st but again little vapour and no taste now on 3rd coil and can tell this is going exact same way contacted customer service all i was told because it is 1st coil might be a dud so can not do anything shame as really like the 2 s-22 tanks i bought both go great with series b dna i also bought so now 2 stars 1 for each day these coils last......JAC Vapour Ltd: There is something else going on here, in your previous review I suggested some fixes, if none of these worked then I can't think what it would be, it may just be a dud pack, but I use these a lot and have never had a similar issue, or heard of a similar issue from other users. If you contact Customer service, we can get the coils returned free to see what going on, and we'll get a replacement pack sent.

1st review: only just starting using these coils used 1 so far and a bit disappointed only lasted 2 1/2 days had to return home to get replacement coil as first 1 just gave up felt as if it was blocked contacted jacvapour awaiting on reply really hope this is sorted as was great the 2 1/2 days that it worked was really hoping to get at least a week out of these coils as its going to be a bit expensive only lasting a couple days................JAC Vapour Ltd - I am not sure what has happened here, I can't even think what would cause it, if it blocked then that sounds like something in the airflow, so I'd clean out the base and check and make sure there is nothing in there. The only other thing I can think of is some of the cotton in the coil has come loose and is blocking airflow. To check this, remove the coil, then on the base you'll see a small copper pin (the connector) pull that out (it just slides out of the rubber seat) then hold the coil up to the light, if it's blocked you'll see. If it is cotton then take a toothpick and clear it, then replace the copper pin and all should be fine. I am really just guessing, but those are the only bits that could block in the design, it certainly shouldn't be common, if you contact customer service they will replace the coil for you.
