So you’ve decided to give ecigarettes a go, but are now completely confused by all the options and models available. Never fear this article will describe the different options and what they mean in plain English.
The first thing you need to know are the parts the ecigarette are made up of.
1. The battery
2. The cartomiser (this contains the nicotine solution that produces the vapour)
At JAC Vapour we sell 2 different styles of battery
1. Vgo batteries – These are large batteries, a bit like cigars that will last all day
2. Standard V3 batteries – These are batteries that mimic the look of a real cigarette and are preferred by those new to vaping.
As a beginner, it’s best to go for something that is familiar in look and size to real smoking, so stick with the standard V3 batteries to begin with and you can always move on to the bigger batteries later if you wish.
The next thing you need to decide is how to charge your ecigarette batteries, the smaller batteries will need recharged ever 2hrs if you’re using it a lot, so you use one battery while charging another and then swap over. If you’re stopping normal smoking you will almost definitely need 2 batteries, so do not buy a kit with 1 battery.
So onto the charger options. If you are constantly near a power supply, then the wall chargers and usb chargers are fine, but if you are out and about (away from a power supply) you will need a PCC. A PCC is Portable Charging Case and works in the following way:
Charge the PCC from the mains or from your computer overnight, you can then charge batteries when you wish using the case. So while you’re using one battery the other is conveniently charging so that’s ready for use as soon as you need it. The PCCs also provide space for spare cartomisers and batteries depending on the model, these make a very convenient way to carry around everything you need, so that when you fancy a vape, be it in the pub, at work etc. you always have everything on hand in small neat package.
There are a few different styles of case, and most of it comes down to the look you prefer:

The Excel Case – this is a large case (1.5 times the size of a packet of cigarettes) and not very pocket friendly, but fine in a jacket or handbag. This can charge 2 batteries at the same time and hold 6 spare cartomisers. This is good for heavy users, and will never leave you short if used with 3 batteries, fully charged and loaded with 3 batteries it’ll keep you going most of the weekend. It has a capacity of 1500 mah (it will recharge 5-6 batteries). This will work for any kind of vaper, moderate to light with 2 batteries, and a heavy vaper with 3 batteries.

wearing) with a leather look, can charge 1 battery at a time and carry 2 spare cartomisers. It has capacity of 1200 mah (it will recharge 4 batteries). This will work for any type of vaper, and even last a heavy vaper most of the day.

The V1P Case – The best looking of the bunch and very high quality again with a mobile phone style futuristic look. It has a capacity of 1200 mah, but takes a while to charge a battery (3hrs). This is good for moderate to light vapers.
So that covers what you require:
1. V3 batteries
2. Cartomisers
3. A charger or PCC
The cartomsiers come either empty or prefilled, to begin with go for the prefilled, and then once you are familiar with the device experiment with filling your own, as it greatly reduces the cost. Our cartomisers can be used over and over again, and are easy to refill, plus it opens up a endless world of different flavours.
