Warranty

1. Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

  • Coverage: This applies to disposable items that cannot be covered by a long-term warranty, including Puff Box refills, VIM pods, tanks, cartomisers, and coils.
  • Action Required: If an item is faulty out of the box, you must contact Customer Service immediately.
  • Process: DOA items are replaced once troubleshooting is complete. We may request a photo or video to expedite your claim, though you may also return the item for physical testing.

2. The 14-Day "No Quibble" Period

  • Malfunctions: If any hardware malfunctions within 14 days of purchase, we will provide an immediate replacement or a full refund.
  • Unopened Items: Puff Box kits and pods can only be returned under this 14-day guarantee if the packaging remains unopened and sealed due to hygiene regulations.
  • After 14 Days: If a fault develops after the first 14 days but within the warranty period, the item must be returned to us for inspection before a replacement is issued.

3. Standard Warranty Terms

Our warranties cover manufacturing faults or malfunctions that develop under normal use.

  • Duration: The warranty period begins from the date of dispatch.
  • Replacements: A replacement does not "restart" the warranty. The original purchase date remains the start point for your coverage.
  • Repair or Replace: We will attempt to repair faulty items first. If a repair is not economical or the product is discontinued, we will provide a replacement of equal or greater value.
  • Processing Time: We aim to process returns within 5 working days of receipt.
  • Territory: Warranties are valid only for orders placed within the UK and EU.

4. Sale & Clearance Items

Items in our Sale section are heavily discounted (e.g., e-liquids near "Use By" dates or discontinued hardware).

  • Hardware: Covered for 14 days only (Dead on Arrival). No long-term warranty applies.
  • E-liquids: E-liquids from our Sales & Clearance section are non-returnable.

5. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty is void and does not cover:

  • General Wear & Tear: Expected degradation over time.
  • Accidental Damage: Drops, fire, theft, corrosion, or water damage.
  • Misuse: Improper storage, handling, or unauthorized user modifications.
  • Third-Party Products: Damage caused by using non-JAC Vapour hardware, chargers, or e-liquids.
  • Negligence: Wilful neglect or breach of our general Terms & Conditions.

6. Returning Your Product

  • Authorisation: Do not return items without a completed returns form. JAC Vapour is not liable for items returned without prior notification.
  • Proof of Postage: You are responsible for the item until it reaches us. Always obtain and keep your proof of postage.
  • International Shipping: Our free returns service does not cover postage for items sent from outside the UK.
  • Non-Transferable: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
