Safety First: The "Never Bin It" Rule

It is vital that e-cigarettes, batteries, and refill pods are never disposed of in your general household rubbish or your standard doorstep recycling bin. When batteries end up in the wrong place, they pose risks.

What Can Be Recycled?

You can recycle the following items:

E-Cigarette Batteries: Both internal batteries found inside devices and removable external cells.
Puff Box Devices: The main rechargeable hardware units.
Puff Box Refill Pods: Because these pods contain metal components and residual electronics, they must be processed as electronic waste rather than plastic waste.

How to Recycle Your Vapes & Batteries

We’ve made it simple for you to do your bit for the planet. We currently accept the following JAC Vapour items for recycling:

e-Cig Batteries (Internal or external)
Puff Box Devices
Puff Box Refill Pods

Returning Old Batteries

If you do not have easy access to a local battery waste facility or recycling centre, you can send your old battery directly to us for recycling.

Package Your Battery Waste: Please securely package the battery waste.
Send to Us: Ship your packaged waste to the following address:

Returning Puff Box & Refills

We also offer a process for returning your used Puff Box & Zero Max Refills to ensure they are properly dismantled, cleaned, and recycled.

For 50 Puff Box Refills:

Free Return Service: If you have collected 50 or more Puff Box Refills, you can return them to us free of charge.
Contact Customer Service: Before returning, please contact our Customer Service team. They will provide you with a link to a returns slip.
Receive QR Code: Fill out the online form, and you will receive a QR code.
Post Your Refills: Take the packaged refills to your local post office. Use the provided QR code for a Royal Mail tracked 48-hour service.

For Less Than 50 Puff Box Refills:

Return at Your Own Cost: You can still return fewer than 50 refills to us for recycling, but the shipping costs will be at your own expense.
Important Notice: Please do not send any product back without first contacting us. This ensures we are aware of your refills being sent to our warehouse.

WEEE Compliance

At JAC Vapour, we are committed to responsible environmental practices and are fully compliant with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.

What Does WEEE Compliance Mean?

As part of our commitment:

Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS): We participate in the WEEE Distributor Take Back Scheme, which means we financially support local authorities in providing WEEE collection facilities. This helps ensure that electronic waste is properly recycled rather than ending up in landfill sites.
Responsible Disposal: All of our new electrical goods are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with regular household waste and should be taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling.
Battery Recycling: We also provide free battery recycling services, helping to minimize the environmental impact of battery disposal.

By returning your electronic waste and used batteries to us, you are helping to ensure that these materials are recycled responsibly, in line with WEEE regulations.
