Why we created Clear Steam™
We launched Clear Steam™ in 2014 to meet the demand of adults who wished to vape without any visible vapour, solving the problem of vapour being a nuisance to others in the vicinity.
Clear Steam™ was the UK's first vapourless e-liquid and it's still extremely popular today.
The science behind Clear Steam™
Standard e-liquids use heavy vegetable glycerine (VG) to lock water droplets in the air, producing vapour clouds and plumes. Clear Steam™ uses an ultra-refined, low-viscosity formulation of 90% PG and 10% water, which actively breaks down and dissipates instantly before you exhale. This means your exhale is invisible, preventing wasted fluid in every puff - making it highly efficient too.

How strong is the throat hit?
With an extremely high PG content, Clear Steam™ has a strong throat hit. This is balanced out somewhat with the water content.
Why is the e-liquid so efficient?
Clear Steam™ is made from 90% PG, 10% water. Regular e-liquids contain VG as a means to producing vapour clouds. Without any VG, there aren't any vapour clouds and, therefore, less e-liquid is used (or wasted) purely to create the clouds. With forthcoming Vape Duty being applied to UK e-liquids, it's never been more important to use e-liquid that is more efficient and longer-lasting.
Will this e-liquid set off smoke alarms?
There's a lot of ifs and buts in this question. The short answer is that Clear Steam™ will not set of the vast majority of smoke alarms as the vapour dissipates in your mouth and you exhale extremely thin particles (opposed to thick/dense vapour which can set off sensitive smoke alarm).
