E-liquids Help Guide

E-liquid is the fluid which is vaped using your e-cigarette. Most e-liquids contain a mix of Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerine and nicotine, as well as flavouring. There are some e-liquids, however, which may contain no PG, or no VG (such as our vapourless Clear Steam range).

We offer a wide variety of flavours to suit every taste, from our selection of tobacco e-liquids, right through to menthol or fruity flavours such as Apple, Watermelon or Strawberry Chew. E-liquid is available in a range of strengths so you can select which is right for you.

At present we offer our standard range of flavours, our UK Made range, our vapourless Clear Steam range as well as picNIC, our new DIY Easy Mix e-liquid range.

Quick Info

We offer various strengths and flavours of our UK Made range of e-liquids for use with our cartomisers or tanks.

E-liquids typically contain a mix of PG (Propylene Glycol) and VG (Vegetable Glycerine), along with pharmaceutical grade nicotine and flavourings. We offer two ratios of PG to VG. In our PG base UK Made e-liquids, we use 80% PG and 20% VG. In our VG base UK Made e-liquids, we use 80% VG and 20% PG.

PG: PG is the standard base used in most e-liquids and produces a bigger throat hit and less vapour than VG. It's also more effective at delivering flavour. We use PG as the main ingredient in the e-liquids found in our pre-filled carts. Our PG e-liquids actually also contain some VG as well (20% in the case of our standard range). This means that our PG e-liquids offer a good balance of throat hit, flavour and vapour production, while being thin enough to wick easily. Some people may find PG too harsh, however, as it tends to dehydrate and can cause a sore throat for some. It's also possible to experience an intolerance to PG, in which case we would recommend using our VG base e-liquids (which contain much less PG).

VG: VG is used an alternative base to PG, and produces much more vapour, but with less throat hit, while flavour tends to be a little more muted. It's a good choice for those who may have an intolerance to PG, or who find PG too harsh on the throat. Flavour tends be sweeter overall, and a little more muted when compared to PG. The thicker consistency of VG can also make it slightly harder to work with when using carts, but it's great in tanks and many people prefer it.

Different flavours or strengths of e-liquid can be mixed to produce strength or flavour mix you like. For example: Vanilla and Apple together create an Apple Crumble type flavour, or mix 24mg and 12mg in equal parts to create 18mg, and so on. You can also mix PG and VG e-liquids together to mix your own perfect balance of taste and vapour production.

All of our e-liquid is CLP compliant and is tested at source and independtly in UK labs. For more information on JAC safety standards and processes, visit our Safety Information page.

Please note: E-liquids cannot be returned due to health and safety reasons, even if unopened, so please make sure you know you like a flavour prior to ordering large quantities.

Note:

  • E-liquid is not suitable for use while breastfeeding or pregnant
  • Our e-liquid may contain traces of nuts
  • Our e-liquid does not contain any animal based ingredients

Quick Info

Various strengths and flavours of our Standard Range of e-liquid are available for use with our cartomisers or tanks.

PG (Propylene Glycol): PG is the standard base used in e-liquids and produces a bigger throat hit, slightly less vapour and lasts longer. Flavour also comes through more prominently. This is the e-liquid we use in our prefilled carts, and it's a base of 80% PG and 20% VG which produces plenty of throat hit and vapour, and wicks easily. Some people can find PG too harsh as it tends to dehydrate and can cause a sore throat for some. Users can also have an intolerance to PG, in which case we would recommend they use VG.

VG (Vegetable Glycerine): VG is an alternative to the PG and produces more vapour, but with less throat hit and vaping. It also uses more e-liquid. It's a good alternative for those that may have an intolerance to PG or find PG too harsh. The taste will be sweeter and not a full as PG, and the thicker consistency can make it slightly hard to work with in carts, but it's great in tanks and many people prefer it. Our Standard Range of VG base is 80% VG and 20% PG, so it's not suitable for people allergic to PG.

The e-liquid strength and flavours can all be mixed to produce whatever strength or flavour mix you prefer. For example: Vanilla and Apple together create an Apple Crumble type flavour, or mix 24mg and 12mg to get 18mg, and so on. You can also mix PG and VG versions, to get your perfect balance of taste and vapour production.

All of our e-liquid is CLP compliant and is tested at source and further independently in UK labs. For more information on JAC safety standards and processes, visit our Safety Information page.

Please note: E-liquid cannot be returned due to health and safety reasons, even if unopened so please make sure you know you like a flavour prior to ordering large quantities.

Note:

  • E-liquid is not suitable if breast feeding or pregnant
  • Our e-liquid may contain traces of nuts
  • Our e-liquid does not contain any animal based ingredients

Quick Info

Clear Steam vapourless e-liquids are designed to minimise vapour production, and are ideal for those occasions where discretion is required. Unlike regular e-liquids, the vapour produced by Clear Steam dissipates prior to being exhaled. Developed in British laboratories following extensive research, Clear Steam aims to make e-cigarettes even more distinguishable than their traditional counterparts - a visual concern that has resulted in a spate of public bans.

This addition to JAC Vapour's range has the same strength, flavour and throat hit that our other high quality e-liquids are renowned for, whilst offering an effective solution to address concerns raised around the issue of vaping in public.

Please note: Clear Steam can be used in the same way as other e-liquids, but in order to see its true effectiveness, the user needs to make sure to inhale fully when taking a draw. Inhaling fully into the lungs, and holding the inhalation for a second will result in no visible vapour upon exhalation. Simply puffing and exhaling, without drawing the vapour into your lungs will see a small amount of vapour exhaled, though this will be much smaller in volume than that produced by our other e-liquids. Here is a video tutorial on how Clear Steam works, to help you get started.

Clear Steam e-liquids are perfect for use anywhere that vaping is not allowed due to the potential confusion surrounding the exhalation of (harmless) vapour.
