WHAT CHARGER DOES MY BATTERY NEED?

All V3i batteries need the V3i 5v output charger. Manual Vgo2 batteries require the 4.2v charger, and the automatic Vgo2 batteries require5v output charger.

All of our JAC 510 batteries require a 4.2v 510 connection charger.

It is very important to get the right charger for your battery. Charging with the wrong charger, will damage your batteries and will reduce life span.

IS THE LIGHT ON THE BACK OF THE PCC CASE REPRESENT THE CHARGE OF THE PCC OR THE BATTERY CHARGE? WHY DO THE BATTERY TIPS STILL FLASH AFTER CHARGING HAS FINISHED?

The light on the PCC reflects bot the charger of the battery and that of the case. The When you press the button on the PCC, it will light up with small green LED’s, this represents the PCC charger. When you press and hold the button for 4-6 seconds, with a battery attached, this will show the battery charge.

Once charging is complete, the battery will flash. The battery also flashed when low on charger and when the six second safety cut-off is activated.

CAN I LEAVE MY BATTERY CONNECTED IN THE PCC AFTER IT’S CHARGED?

Yes, all of the V3i batteries have a cut-off which prevents them from charging once they are fully charged.

DO YOU HAVE A PRODUCT THAT CHARGES A BATTERY AND HOLDS A FULL E-CIGARETTE AND ONE SPARE?

Unfortunately, we do not have a PCC that will hold 3 batteries. The V1P PCC will hold 2 batteries or one battery and a few carts.

HOW DO YOU TELL WHEN THE PCC IS FULLY CHARGED?

When the five green lights appear on the back of the PCC, this is when it is fully charged.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHARGE THE 78MM BATTERIES IN THE PCC?

The 55mm, 65mm and 78mm batteries all charge in the PCC, however, the 78mm batteries are unable to sit in the PCC with a cart connected.

AM I ABLE TO CHARGE BOTH THE BATTERY AND PCC AT THE SAME TIME? DO THE BATTERIES HAVE TO BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE USE?

You are able to charge both the battery and PCC at the same time without any issue. The batteries do not need to be fully charged before use, however, to get the best from your batteries, we recommend to do charge them fully.

HOW MANY TIMES WILL A FULLY CHARGED PCC CHARGE A 55MM, 65MM OR 78MM BATTERY?

The PCC should charge the 55mm battery roughly 4-5 times, the 65mm batteries 3-4 times and 2-3 times for the 78mm battery.

ARE V3I BATTERIES COMPATIBLE WITH THE CONTENTS OF THE V1P STARTER KITS? HOW LONG DO THEY LAST FOR?

V3i batteries are compatible with the V1P PCC Starter Kit and all of it’s contents. These batteries should also last you for around 3 months of normal use.

WHICH USB ADAPTER WORKS IN THE US?

Unfortunately, none of our USB adapters will work in the US. As this is the case, we recommend to buy a 0.5A adapter locally.

  • Troubleshooting

My charger is not charging my battery

This can be for one of two reasons, either the charger is not connecting to the battery properly or it is damaged/faulty.

Top determine if there is a fault with the charger, first try cleaning the charger and battery to improve connectivity. Here is a video on cleaning chargers, and one on cleaning your battery connection.

If once cleaned, your charger still fails to connect with the battery we recommend raising the centre post on your battery. This can be achieved by placing a pin between the centre battery post and battery connection thread and gently lever the centre post higher.

If none of these suggestions work, we recommend contacting customer service.

My charger won't work in my computer's USB slot?

USB 1.0 does not output enough power to charge our batteries. Computers that are newer than say 10 years old generally use either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 so it is more likely that your USB drive has been deactivated rather than it being an outdated USB 1.0 slot.

To test this, firstly try your charger in your other USB slots. If none of the USB inputs work, you can check what version they are by:

    1. Open the Device Manager.
    2. In the "Device Manager" window, click the + (plus sign) next to Universal Serial Bus controllers. You will see a list of the USB ports installed on your computer.

If they are showing as USB 1.0, then unfortunately you will not be able to charge your JAC Vapour batteries via these ports and will need to use a Mains to USB Adapter. If they are deactivated, make sure you enable them.
